Mahniz is a senior at Barnard college, majoring in Biochemistry. She is interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field to explore the intersectional aspects of health inequities. She is involved in several outreach events and projects with nonprofits that focus on highlighting the issues surrounding immigrants and women of color. In her free time, she enjoys reading nonfiction, playing chess and exploring different restaurants and museums.
