Maciej Mateusz Żurowski

Maciek is a final year Systems Biology student at the University of Cambridge. He is interested in the evolution of developmental mechanisms and the mechanisms through which enhancers (certain DNA sequences outside of the gene) regulate gene transcription. He is committed to upholding the high-quality of research and improving scientific communication both within and outside of the academic community. Outside of his degree he enjoys cooking and baking, as well as playing video and board games (especially tabletop role-playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons).
