Ms. Sheridon Ward is a historian of reproductive health in the medieval world. She attended The Ohio State University, where she studied evolution and ecology before discovering a love for medieval history. She worked with Ohio State's Special Collections to bring rare materials into students' hands for research and for coursework. She particularly enjoyed studying their collection of medieval manuscripts. She wrote an undergraduate thesis which focused on religious and healing practices of laywomen in late medieval Europe. Sheridon is now working towards her PhD in Medieval History at the Johns Hopkins University, continuing her focus on reproductive healthcare. While at JYI, Sheridon was the Senior News and Careers Editor for 2 years.
