We will be hosting a series of free webinars with the goal to offer undergraduate students an insight into the breadth of career opportunities available both with and in science. Our speakers will discuss their career path and their advice to undergraduate students wishing to pursue a future in their field.
The first webinar of the series is scheduled for Saturday September 7th 2019, at 7pm BST (12pm PST, 3pm EST), and our speaker will be Dr. Nafisa Jadavji, discussing her career in academia. Nafisa is the chair of our Board of Directors, and is Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University.
The webinar will be accompanied by a live Q&A where viewers can ask questions to the speaker. If you are unable to attend or have questions ahead of time, please feel free to submit them by commenting below or by emailing eic@jyi.
